Art
Art is an integral part of elementary education. As part of the general learning process, art balances the curriculum to develop the whole intellect. The mission of Medford Township's school art teachers is to develop and teach a sequential art program which includes the basic art elements/principles of design, art appreciation and visual awareness that is fundamental to intellectual growth and creative self expression. We strive to recognize the whole child in each student and motivate them to explore their world through art to meet their intellectual and emotional needs.
We create an environment that develops and encourages:

It is our hope that students will gain knowledge of art and culture throughout history and the modern world. Our art program offers a broad range of experiences for our children involving parents, the community, and regional resources.
